Dermatitis and Eczemas

Dermatitis and eczema are terms used to describe skin conditions that cause inflammation, redness, and itching. Atopic dermatitis (AD) is the most common type of eczema, affecting both adults and children. It is a chronic condition with no cure, but it can be managed with proper skin care and by avoiding triggers. Eczema can appear as dry, scaly patches or as moist, inflamed areas on the skin, and it is not contagious.
