Common Cold

The common cold is a mild upper respiratory infection caused by different viruses, such as rhinoviruses and coronaviruses. It usually lasts about a week and can cause symptoms like congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and sometimes fever, muscle aches, and fatigue. Colds are highly contagious and can spread through the air or by touching surfaces with the virus on them. Although they are more common in the winter, you can catch a cold at any time of the year.
