Interstitial Cystitis

Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a chronic bladder condition that causes recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder or pelvic region. It can lead to symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency to urinate, and intense pain in the bladder or pelvic area. IC can affect anyone, but it is more common in women. The condition is also known as painful bladder syndrome and can cause persistent or intermittent discomfort.
