Cluster Headaches
Cluster headaches are extremely painful headaches that occur in cycles, with periods of intense headache attacks followed by headache-free periods. These headaches can last from 15 minutes to 3 hours and are often described as burning, sharp, or piercing. They typically affect one side of the head and may be accompanied by symptoms such as a red, teary eye, runny or stuffy nostril, and facial flushing. While there is currently no cure for cluster headaches, there are medications available to reduce the frequency and severity of the episodes.
