Constipation

Constipation is when you have infrequent bowel movements and your stool may be hard, dry, and difficult to pass. It can also cause stomach cramps, bloating, and nausea. While it's common to have constipation occasionally, chronic constipation can be a problem and may be a symptom of an underlying medical issue. Making changes to your diet and exercise routine can help prevent or treat mild constipation, but if these don't work, there are over-the-counter and prescription medications available.
