Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma
Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma (MFH) is a type of cancer that commonly occurs in soft tissues and, less frequently, in the bones. It is a pleomorphic tumor consisting of fibroblasts, myofibroblasts, and histiocytes. MFH of the bone is extremely rare and aggressive, representing less than 1% of all primary malignant bone tumors. Early detection and a combination approach involving surgical resection and neoadjuvant chemotherapy are crucial for managing this condition.
