Paraganglioma

Paraganglioma is a type of noncancerous tumor that develops near nerve cell bunches in the head, neck, or torso. It can also occur in the adrenal glands. These tumors are usually benign, but some may spread to other parts of the body. Paragangliomas are associated with the sympathetic nervous system and can affect hormone production in response to stress. Early detection and treatment are important for managing this condition.
