Plasmacytoma

Plasmacytoma is a rare type of cancer that starts in the plasma cells, which are white blood cells that produce antibodies. It can develop in the bone marrow or soft tissues and may progress to multiple myeloma in some cases. Treatment usually involves radiotherapy, and sometimes surgery, but chemotherapy is not generally effective for this type of cancer.
